Do not buy these, the screws strip when you’re trying to mount them.

I bought these to revitalize a Cabelas rod rack that I have had for about 20 years. It matches my fly tying desk and materials storage so I wanted to keep it rather than replace it. These little guys fit perfectly into the grooves in the side of the rod rack. If anything they are better than the originals and it only took a few minutes to replace the old ones. Most of that time was spent removing the old ones that were stapled in (without causing any damage). I did use different screws - better ones - although the screws that were included would have worked okay (just a personal quirk). I fly fish and do light freshwater and saltwater spinning - all of my rods fit perfectly. I would buy again

I use these as holders on a velvet-covered board for my tobacco pipes, exactly as we did in the early 80's when I was working at The Tinderbox. These are of a harder rubber than the ones I'm accustomed to, which makes slipping a pipe stem into them a little tougher, but they hold firmly and I expect them to withstand daily wear and tear a little better than the softer ones.

I have not yet actually used these our mounted them to anything at all yet, but wanted to go ahead and give a review based upon the observations I have made (because I won't be able to build my pole rack until I have more time off from work).I recieved the "Organized Fishing Regular Sized Rubber Replacement Clips, Accommodates Most Spinning and Casting Rods (pack of 16), RRC-16" in the mail very quickly ...you never really know on free shipping, but it came faster than I had even expected.I read another review that stated "the clips weren't flimsy/flexable enough" and something else about it not being easy enough to open with one hand or something... but honestly have no idea why she would state that. I personally like to know that my equipment is safely secure (especially when you're using more expensive rods and reels). Anyway...The item description eas accurate and this is a very affordable price, and appears to be a good quality product. They have good movement, and stay in the closed position with no trouble. I probably will end up using different screws, mostly just because I'm picky about my hardware and how it matches (but the screws that come with it do look kind-of cheap).Overall, I can tell you that I am satisfied with my purchase; and will most likely be buying more in the future!

I was building a fishing rod rack as a nice piece of furniture and these will probably be replaced if I can find something better. The plastic part will probably not hold up to a lot of in and out use and the screws were very soft so I replace with some from the hardware store. Still ok for the money.

I purchased these to outfit my jon boat with rod holders... basically just screwed them into several vertical lenths of PVC along the perimeter wall fo my boat. That way, I can stow the rod horizontal while trailering using these clips. They are a bit under-sized for my larger catfishing rod, but are perfect for the others.Overall I would recommend them to anybody looking for an inexpensive alternative to the flashier options out there.
