positives - build quality is fine, and it fits 2-inch tape rolls.negatives - the metal sticky-side-tape-retention-bracket-thingy is essentially nonfunctional, packing tape sticks to it like crazy and refuses to let go. I ended up cannibalizing the 2-inch roller and putting it on a different brand of gun with a plastic retention-bracket-thingy -- worked like a charm, so the problem is definitely this gun.Don't recommend unless you absolutely need 2-inch rolls
