I bought the J-Tech brand SDI DA and when I tested it, all of the outputs didn't work so I got a replacement but the same thing happened where all of the outputs didn't work. I decided to try out this AV Matrix SDI DA and it works great. I've already used it on 2 shows and it worked flawlessly. It even has a locking power connector. Even though it's a little over $100, it's still a bargain compared to DAs from Blackmagic or AJA.

It's true that you get what you pay for. This is more expensive than some competitors, but man.... what an upgrade.It's easy to use, up and down scales flawlessly, and it is fast.

Even though I think the price is slightly expensive, the device performed well. This video converter didn’t come with any instructions or user manual, so I researched online to set it up as a newcomer.

So far, unit has past all my tests.Build well from strong materials. No weak spots found.I/O ports are snug and no cable wopple so far.Definitely would but these AVMatrix convertors above there competition in the Blackmagic convertors.Similar features but these units feel like they can take more abuse.Still early days, but very happy with purchase

This is a bit more expensive than some of the cheaper models on Amazon. However, this one has outperformed them all.I bought two cheaper models and both of them died within a year.Would highly recommend.
