Motor works better than the original but gave 4 stars because I had to get a new screw and lock washer because the original was too big and I had to switch the wires on the switch because when I went to extend it would retract and extend when I went to retract.

Worked for a day. What a pain in the rear to install in 105 degree heat, but to have to go through the process a second time without even really using the RV. Also, although it fits in the original awning arm, the bolt isn't the original's size but a metric 6 bolt.

When our awning stopped working I assumed it was the switch, then I suspected chewed wires. Sometimes the obvious is actually the issue and in this case it was my motor. I did watch a few how to videos since I had never changed one of these. Installation was not bad and other than having to round up a mounting bolt, everything went smoothly. I can now retract our awning again. We could not be happier. 5 STARS
