I started looking for a replacement key for my lawn mower when I noticed the original had been badly bent by a neighbor who uses my mower to do both our yards. I was surprised at how easy it was to get a new key, anbd it fit, exactly, when I received it. Now the bent key hangs on a key rack as an "extra" incase something happens to the new one.

I'm not sure how the one key that came with my riding lawnmower got lost, but it did, and my yard was halfway to jungle status. When I came across this key I was really hoping it lived up to its claim of universal fit. And it did! So was able to get the yard cut, then 2 days later found the original key under the TV stand. Not upset though! Glad I now have TWO keys that fit!

I was skeptical about ordering this key since so many specific models aren't listed in the description, but this worked like a charm on my Dad's 'Craftsman LT2000' Rider mower, making him happy and earning me the Daughter of the Week award.

After searching for a new lawnmower key, I was surprised to find my Craftsman key was universal. (Sounds like all lawn tractor brands use the same key???) Works great, and if I ever find the original, I will have a spare. It did make me realize leaving my lawn tractor in the yard without the key wasn't really a good idea!
