I have a floor vent in my kitchen that has caught bare toes multiple times, gashing them because it doesn't sit perfectly in the tile and it has sharp edges. This vent guard is exactly the solution I needed. It fits into place easily with no tools and surrounds those edges with a nice, rubbery buffer to protect bare feet from harm. It does sit up a bit from the floor, but the vent wasn't perfectly flush before so that's fine. Our roomba vacuum is able to move over it without getting stuck.One of the best side benefits of this is that it's keeping dog hair from falling down into the vent. With a giant breed long haired dog in the house, it takes sweeping and vacuuming almost every day to keep up with shed fur, and some inevitably escapes down the vent where it turns into a horrifying nest. The holes in this vent guard are small enough to keep the dust bunnies out, though, so we won't be having to vacuum monsters out of the ductwork every week anymore! Another cool side benefit is that the vent is now silent when you walk over it, rather than making a metallic rattle, and you can't see down into it so everything both IS cleaner, and LOOKS cleaner. Very happy with it.

It is made with high quality and great craftsmanship. The material is strong and sturdy. It is thick to be durable. The size is perfect to cover the vent completely. It has smooth surface and evenly distributed holes, safe and protective. It is easy to install and the conductance don’ doesn’t get affected with it in place.

These child proof air vent protectors are great! So stylish looks better than the original vent cover!! We will keep them on forever now lol only complaint is they don’t make them bigger for bigger floor intake vents! Definitely recommend

Bought these cause my child started to crawl and has discovered the vents on the floor. These just fit over the current vent and now I'm not worried about children's fingers or even dog tags getting stuck in the vent anymore! Got black to blend in to my kitchen as I have black appliances.
