This suit is perfect in every way except one: the coat zipper is TERRIBLE. I bought two of these suits for my daughters and BOTH coats have the same problem with the zipper popping open and just getting totally messed up constantly. The zipper literally splits apart seconds after being closed. This renders the coat functionally useless. Would not buy this suit again and still may return them if I can't figure out how to replace the zipper with something that actually keeps the coat closed.

I have had "down" jackets before that weren't real feathers. So I wasn't sure what to expect. This one does say it is 90% eiderdown (duck down) on the tag inside and then it lists pinna, which I think is a synthetic filler. I appreciate that it is what it says! The outer shell is not a flimsy fabric. It isn't the kind of nylon/poly that soaks up water instantly.This is a nice warm coat that allows for the hood and the fur to be removed. This makes it versatile. I like how the wrists sinch in with cuffs that keep the cold air from going up the sleeves.The biggest challenge was the fit of the bibs. Even with the straps as tight as they could go, they were too loose on the top. I have a 3T on an average-sized 3-yr-old who wears 3T. So it should have fit. However, this is sized as a 3-4T. So it ends up being really big for a child that just turned 3.The straps need to either be shorter or have more ability to be adjusted. They will slide all over this way. At least the elastic waist will help a little. We might have to wait to use this until next winter.

My child barely wore the coat and the zipper broke on 3rd day of use. The set was super cute and seemed warm enough. But the coat is useless if we can’t zip it up. A replacement is being sent, hopefully it won’t break.

The sleeves are fitted and elastic so keeps wind out. I like the top zipper and easy buckle straps. Made well and thick to keep them warm.
