Easy to use. Drop in and it shows immediately if the water is safe for your baby. Bonus he likes playing with it.

Cute ducky. It is easy to use and to read; both the color (obviously) and the display is also fairly easy to see, and stays on and updated throughout the bath time. I like that it is rechargeable.

Super cute rubber ducky. It is accurate with reading temperature. The only issue is the little metal ball underneath the ducky, was pushed in by accident and i had to take the duck apart and hot glue it back.

I was looking for something like this to use when my grand babies visit my house and also for my bearded dragons as I don't want to use water that is too hot. I used a heat gun and another water thermometer to check for the accuracy of this, all three devices I used showed with in 1 degree of each other. I do like the color background showing safe temp from unsafe temp. I used the duck when running the water and then took out, so as far as battery life I haven't used it long enough to run the battery down yet, but does seem to hold a good charge. Love that it is rechargeable.

This was my fourth bathtub thermometer I have tried. The first still work well but I wanted to try one that was rechargeable instead of having to open it up and change batteries. I like how bright the display is and how easy it is to charge. The temperature was too far off for me to feel comfortable using it. I used a heat gun and my two other thermometers for comparison. The others were close to each other within a degree but this one was consistently off by several degrees.

This yellow duck water thermometer works very well. It's useful in baby bath water as well as swimming pool water. Just be sure you know what temperature you're looking for to see if it's too cold or too hot. The rubber duck has a hard rubber/plastic feel to it, but it floats. The temperature gauge is easy to read and even turns colors to indicate optimum water temperature. Red flashes when it's too hot and blue flashes when it's too cold. It also reads the temperature in numbers so you'll know if it's safe for baby. This duck is rechargeable and comes with a UBS cord to keep the battery kicking. One of the nice elements of this product is that the display on top of the duck lights up when in use -- this is very helpful and makes it quite easy to read the numbers. This is a really nice thermometer.

I use a little thermometer ducky for a cold plunge. It does double duty: measures the temperature and gives me moral support when getting into the cold water. This format is great and it's compact, clearly displays the temperature and floats nicely in the water while generally staying upright and is fairly indestructible.I have an existing ducky that gives me a nice basis for comparison. In the attached picture, this product is the ducky on the left. As pictured, this was roughly a minute after I put the two duckies in the water. It shows a discrepancy between the registered temperatures. What I've found is other ducky is able to register the correct temperature almost instantly. The ducky featured in this product takes several minutes to slowly adjust before it starts reading the correct temperature. After several minutes the two duckies registered very close to the same temperature. The ducky featured in this product review uses a USB charging cord that comes with the product. It plugs into a USB-A charger, but there's a proprietary magnetic interface that plugs into the ducky, which means if you lose it, you're screwed. The ducky I already own uses a small battery that is not rechargeable. Given that the battery has been going strong for over 2 years now, I'd rather have the simpler system and just replace the battery every couple years. This duck automatically turns on and off based on contact with the water. Unlike my other ducky, it stays on as long as it's still in the water, which means it discharges the battery faster, but is potentially an advantage. In summary, this product will work just fine for a bathtub, pool, etc., but given the proprietary charging cord and slowness in registering the correct temperature, I'd look elsewhere.
