I gave this four stars because it is sturdy and it’s a lot of fun but I’m very disappointed and less than two years, this set we always bring into the garage during bad weather and over the winter but already the whole entire pole is rusted out. Although we only paid $70 for it. I hate to have to replace it already.

Does the job, though a 1-piece pole is still steadier. I even put hose clamps around the joints and it is still just a little wobbly, though VERY usable. Cemented it into a tire, so I put a couple screws sticking out the sides of the buried end of the pole to help hold it in. That all works ok, and the tire doesn't budge, but the pole wiggles at the joints. Biggest disappointment is the ball sunfades FAST, and I'm not even in Arizona or New Mexico. Up by rainy Seattle. (Though in all fairness, we haven't had rain since I put it up). But it has only been up for 15 days and the top of the ball is completely colorless! Still holding air though, so that's the main importance. Just be ready for a fast color fade.

Ordered 2 so far, these are being put to the test at our local park in my town. The first one got taken out by an overly excited dog. They very kindly paid to replace it and the next one showed up today! Very happy with the product! My town thanks you for the price point and the nice product!

I was looking for a softer tether ball but all the reviews I read said they deflated too fast. This ball lasted hours of play and no sign of loss of air. That’s with several adult players lol! It isn’t super hard but not soft at all. High impact on your hand. Great for kids or people trying to relive 6th grade recess tournaments.Cup for size reference.

Loved this! Easy set up and install! Was upset re package condition it was really beaten up first package was missing pieces could have fallen out anywhere. The second box that arrived was equally beaten up but all parts accounted for!

I bought it on a whim, not sure how sturdy it would be, but since my son has been asking for one, I thought I'd go ahead and buy which ever one I could get that would ship overseas (we are in the Netherlands).Firstly, I am pleased to say that it is quite sturdy and I mean it is sturdy while putting it into our cement parasol base. I had hoped it would fit and wouldn't topple over... and yes it fits perfectly and is solid. We are happy that we don't have to make a cement base in the ground, and with the parasol holder, it is easy to move around the garden. It is also easy to undo to put into the garage at night. Very pleased with this purchase.Secondly, it was very easy to set up. It took all of 1 minute to click together, and make a final pump of the ball. The boys (age 6, 8) have been outside in the snow for hours playing with it. Even their dad has learned the game, and finds it very entertaining. Now we are going to buy one for their grandparents house, so they can also play it there when we go for the holidays.The ball is harder than the one my son has at his school, and my son still prefers the softer ball... however this is been a successful purchase, and I recommend this.
