I’m really impressed with this balaclava ski mask set. I got it for my recent trip to Vermont and it works great for both myself and friends. The set came in a total of 5piece, allowing me to have extra and be able to share to my friends. It is great for the value of the money. The snug fit kept me warm and comfortable during the day and quick dry kept me dry from soaking up. The UV protection really helped me getting tanned from unnecessary exposure from high elevations. The material is silky and thin, but definitely not too little material to be functional.

I got these to keep face warm on very cold days and also when skiing. These masks delivered as promised. They are thin enough to be comfortable but still provide protection from the wind, cold and UV protection from the sun.

Works very well. I really liked that it covers my whole head except for my eyes. I used it during the harsh winter too and it kept my face warm. It's breathable and very comfortable.

I needed this for added protection for my neck and ears during paintball shooting, it is not very thick, it is breathable but provided very little protection.It was more useful for covering my face from the dust on the field and when I needed a breather it provided neck protection when gathered around the neck area.I think the build quality could be better, with the thickness and stitching which was a bit rough. However value for 5 pack which I shared with other players. Good but not great.

My RamblingsWhether you’re skiing, soldiering (see below History), playing hide-n-seek, or just keeping the sun off you, a balaclava is a fantastic way to make all that work and more, So Let’s take a closer look at this one and throw in some cool history.To the Point or TL;DRComfortable. Slightly stinky, makes eyes water (WASH first). Blocks snow, sun, wood chips. Fogs glasses some, but not googles. Helps with warmth or cooling. Won’t replace scarf. 88% Polyester, 12% Spandex. Really cool history.The Good StuffThese are a good, comfortable way to have fun and work. We used them during our ski trip as well as just playing at home in the snow. Helps with camouflage as well (hide-n-seek or war anyone?). I also ordered them for the summer work and keeping it off my neck and big forehead. I recently had a tree fall and found this is great at keeping wood chips off me, so that was a nice find. Overall, I like, but WASH first.The History StuffBalaclava comes from the Battle of Balaclava October 1854 during the Crimean War, and includes some the origins of several famous actions and sayings such as: The Thin Red Line & Charge of the Light Brigade. Highly recommend you check it out.The Bad StuffA little stinky and makes your eyes water until you WASH it. Have I said that yet? just what i was looking for to wear under my snowmobile helmet. they are very soft, stay in place, and the hole for the eyes is large enough to not block my peripheral vision. they're thin, which may be a problem if you're looking for them to keep you warm. but for those looking to wear under a helmet, these are for you
