The diff wasn’t crazy difficult to assemble, just tedious. However, it doesn’t mesh well at all and the cups wobble. They do not rotate in line with the axles. The adjustability is also lacking. I’m not going to run this thing. It’s got the whole transmission binding. I thought it was just the pinion got out of mesh with the spur, however, that’s not the case. Took me an hour and a half and it’s not worth the time nor the money. Which sucks because I had high hopes. Not to mention the gear is also plastic. That’s an expensive part to potentially strip. So perhaps it’ll work for others. It however, isn’t the right thing for me.

Product isn’t great at all just running stock gearing and brushless motor with 15t pinion it needs constant adjustment, was missing one of the balls for it even, (they did send a rebuild kit) but long term no not worth it and has become an issue, the outdrive cups have worn groves in them and you have to buy a new diff to get the parts, just an over all no had since 2021 and have not been that happy, trying to hop up my mini t even more and this is something that now needs to be removed/replaced with something else because it’s not smooth at all and the rebuild kit doesn’t come with the parts needed

Hopped up my Losi mini T and became absolutely undriveable until I put this on. I only have one hand and was able to assemble and install even though some reviews complain about the build and installation, they probably just did it incorrectly. Great fitment, semi easy to assemble and install, great performance.

First of all don’t just try slamming this together and throwing it in your buggy without learning about how ball diffs work. A lot of people complain that it comes loose or needs constant retightening but that just means you didn’t break it in correctly. A correctly assembled ball diff will need to be tightened here and there but it won’t need constant adjustment. This is a great upgrade with a lot of adjustability. I’d say it needs to be readjusted every 5 packs or so but that’s pretty standard.

The nut and/or the screw has burrs and won't thread on or off. The plastic (plastic?) Cups stripped out and can't get the nut off. I messaged support and got "have you tried (obvious thing)" and nothing more. The product isn't what it used to be. QA/QC is trash and support leaves you hung out to dry. I don't recommend their stuff. Seek something else if you can. MIP has turned to junk.

I don’t see a lot of reviews on the mip diff itself but on the build video most people have the same issue of the slipper coming loose after a couple hard pulls, idk but the stock diff is working better than this one that’s for sure since you don’t have to tighten it every 5 mins. Oh and the main gear is plastic where as the stock is steel.

Well worth the wait for this upgrade to the Losi Mini B. The kit comes with everything you need minus the tools required for assembly. Assembly instructions are on the MIP website. Heads up take your time assembling the diff, the small ball bearings can be difficult to get into place. The Mini B seems to be quicker on acceleration and carries more speed though corners. Also just a recommendation if you get this also pick up the MIP top shaft and idler gear.
