Bag is half sealed and ripped. If this product works then it already absorbed whatever smell is in the warehouse. I bought other brands of charcoal bag and they always come in a airtight zipped bag.

We supplemented the smaller grommeted bags with a couple of these bigger bags just to make sure we conquered our mildew problem. These are inconspicuous and great problem solvers. Hang these in the more central areas for heavier coverage. Great solution.

I have a problem area in the kitchen that just can't be properly de-stinkied without a renovation despite several cleaning attempts so I've been making due with charcoal packets of various sizes. I put this big chonky between the problem sink area and my air purifier machine and it really improved the deodorizing action. I had and still have several of the smaller pouches in that area, under and above the stinky sink, but they weren't cutting it and this helped a lot.I do sun my charcoal packets about every other month (you expose them to direct sunlight for a day) and I do think it renews their deodorizing ability.This thing is huge and could be used for a whole small room instead of a few small pouches. If I needed a new one in a closet, bathroom, car or even a small bedroom or storage room, I would just get this instead of buying a pack of smaller pouches. The webbing fabric seems sturdy and it appears layered, no pilling or tears but you might have that issue if you're moving it around a lot in the back of a truck or a boat interior.

I recently found black mold, explaining why I got super icky sick, so I’m new to the many benefits of charcoal after googling mold 101 class. While it is detoxing me, this is reducing stanky significantly as we detox my home, with major remodeling underway! My research shows these charcoal bags need to be charged in the sun monthly, an hour or so is all, which will activate it! I am definitely ordering quite a few more while we open up walls during tear up and redo! And I thought it was for just the grill, but my face and tummy detox with charcoal is saving my life and this is likely helping save my 2 cats lives as extra air toxin control to backup the hepa! Nice price too so order up a few

I cant really tell if its doing anything. My boyfriend smokes and I HATE the smell. Ive gotten him a couple cool like gadgets that could help with it, but I still smell it. So could it be doing something. Maybe. Is it enough to take care of STRONG odors. I would say no.

This charcoal odor eliminator is absolutely THE best for hard-to-eliminate odors such as those from shoe cabinets. I keep most of my shoes in the closet due to a shortage of storage space in my condo. The one problem with that is that every time I open the closet door, the first thing I notice is the odors from shoes. I have tried cedar blocks and all types of air fresheners including essential oils. All of them do a good job of masking bad odors, but once the scent is gone, the odors are back.The PURIMADE Bamboo Charcoal Air Purifying Bag does not mask the odors. It actually eliminates it entirely. When I open my closet doors, there are no scents or odors coming from them anymore. I can't detect bad odors from shoes either!! It's completely gone.This charcoal bag is also pretty large and versatile. I could have hung it up anywhere in the closet since it came with a carabiner hook, but I decided to roll it up and place it directly on the shoe rack to address the source of the problem.It's also worth mentioning that charcoal bag odor eliminators must be recharged every month in order to keep their performance. To do so, you need to place the bag under direct sunlight for 2 to 3 hours. Doing this every 1 to 2 months will keep the charcoals in tip-top performance for up to two years. Neglecting to do so, will result in the return of odors.Overall, I am happy with the performance of this charcoal bag odor eliminator. It is a great product that functions very well and for an excellent price.

I put this out in the cats' litter box room to try and help eliminate odors. It seems to be good quality and it's substantial in size compared to other brands. I'm pretty disappointed, because I've wanted to try this for awhile after seeing others say how well they work, but it hasn't made a difference after being out there for a few days. I'll put it in the truck and see if it makes a difference there. If it does, I'll immediately update my review.

Been using this Purimade bamboo charcoal air purifier bag for the past couple of weeks after our dog made a pungent mess in the bedroom and this has done an excellent job absorbing that odor. 300g of charcoal is lot and I attribute that to how quickly it worked against the odor. The mesh design helps airflow into the bag, and I like that this bag is actually 8 smaller bags linked into a larger rectangular one. This is great because it lets you wrap the whole bag around armchairs uneven surfaces. That with the attached carabiner hook makes this really versatile.This being activated charcoal, it should last a long time. A couple years if you lay the bag in the sun for about an hour every month or so to replenish its air purifying abilities. Highly recommended!

We have a doggy corner in our bedroom where the dogs hang out and sleep. They pretty much hang out there most of the day so our room was starting to take on a dog smell. I’ve used charcoal deodorizers in the past, but they have been in the form of containers that you set out and toss after so long. This product interested me as it can be hung, making it space-saving. I set this in the corner of our room and have noticed a reduction in the dog odors. While the odors have not completely been eliminated, it has done a good job minimizing them.
