The whisk when I got was sturdy and seemed pretty well made but after a good two months,I started to notice that it was fraying/breaking (I've been taking care of it properly) but even then wood started to spilt and trying to use it was a litte annoying

This is a nice little set, the spoon and whisk are made of bamboo and come packed well. I've used it a few times and it is holding up nicely and cleans easily. recommended.

I am completely new to preparing and drinking hot matcha tea. And soon after ordering some matcha powder, I learned that I also really needed a bamboo whisk to prepare it. I love this little whisk. According to the online product information, it is made using only one piece of bamboo, and I think that is very clever. The product information also indicates that a bamboo whisk is used in preparing matcha in the traditional way and I like that. And when I prepared this tea, this little whisk worked really well to create a froth. The bamboo scoop that comes with the whisk is also really great. It has a different shape than what I might be familiar with when a scoop comes to mind, yet surprisingly it scoops up the powder perfectly and holds it in place very well. I recommend this bamboo matcha whisk and scoop kit.

This is a perfect, good quality replacement set for me with only the bamboo parts I need. After daily use, my old whisk and bamboo scoop have started to fray a bit. This set replaces those parts. These are of similar quality to my previous set, and I'm happy with them. I think the price is appropriate as well.

I do not practice tea ceremony but wanted to move towards more traditional items for my matcha. So far the whisk and scoop have held up well, but the whisk does not seem very sturdy. The scoop works very well for me and I no longer need metal utensils for my tea preparation. I think the whisk performs much better than a metal spoon and this item had a good value compared to higher end matcha accessories.

This is a good basic bamboo matcha whisk and scoop set. They get the job done. The delicate whisk comes in a typical clear plastic protective cylinder. Both arrived free of damage and of perceivable imperfections. My friends who are more into matcha than I am suggested that I briefly soak the bamboo whisk in hot water prior to each use as this helps the otherwise fragile whisk bristles soften and become more pliable and less prone to breakage. I am pleased with this set.
