I have a 5 watt 12 volt AC LED pool light, and I wanted to see how much power it was using when I dimmed the brightness to keep from burning out the LED. When lit, the LED barely registered on this meter, so I bought a 1 amp meter. That one showed just 0.06 amps, so I decided to get a 100 milliamp meter that I am waiting on. I am not sure what is going on, since a 5 watts at 12 volts AC should be using around 0.4 amps.
