It is difficult to put on my dog. Does not stop my dog from cobbing or nipping which is why I bought it. I will return it.

I measured both my dogs for this muzzle and they both didn't fit way to big, not just the muzzle but the harness that keeps the muzzle in place as well. The harness doesn't tighten down enough and the muzzle doesn't stay in place. By the end of the ordeal I was so frustrated and measured again just to b sure and came up with the same numbers. As for maybe it was the breeds of dogs I have, one is a pit mix and the other a full German. They were champs through the whole try on process. The only other thing is that it's bulky, I wanted something that they had more freedom with and able to breath without struggle but still contained if need be, but because of the bulkiness my dog got her back leg caught in the muzzle/harness when she went to scratch her head and was stuck. Not a safe option in my opinion I will not be using this product.

Awesome product. Only use it short times when out in public as a safety measure like when we took the dogs to see Santa. He gave kisses through the muzzle and wagged his tail the entire time. Great product thank you.

Liked that it was a softer material and came with a collar. Softer material less chafing than other brands.but after 2 weeks the side broke and no way to reattach as it's a sewn loop strap. Very disappointing. Fortunately no dogs were injured due to faulty product. I have a dog who must be muzzled to avoid fighting.

The muzzle is hard to put on, does not fit well and is easy for the dog to remove.

We have a Blue Heeler puppy with a LOT of energy. We caught her chewing on everything from the house siding, dining chairs, patio furniture, the coffee table-- you name it, she ate it. We needed a muzzle to stop her from chewing for times when she couldn't be fully supervised but we didn't want to kennell her (she loves to be outside and needs to be to burn off energy). Enter, this muzzle. It is easy to put on her, the silicone is soft and seems comfortable. She is able to drink water, eat treats and small kibble but not large items. It's not fully chew proof as she was somehow able to eat a coloring book and chew/pull our carpet with it still on, but it works for the most part. She is also part Houdini and has been able to get out of many a halter and collar but this thing stays put (and yes, she has tried fervently to get it off). So, A+ for function and durability!

This review is just from looking at it. Seems comfortable the basket is soft not like the Baskerville one. The straps do have the padding for comfort but only the one that’s for the chain and the side of the neck. The actual strap that goes fully around and the top strap isn’t cushioned. Overall I think it would still feel comfortable plus the padding is soft. The head strap also connects to the collar just like the picture indicates which was what drove me to try this muzzle out. It was the wrong size but I did purchase a smaller size just in case but that one hasn’t arrived yet. The straps are also thick and seem durable. Will update after I’ve been using it for awhile.Update: if your dog is aggressive like mine I would not recommend this muzzle. My dog still was able to bite with the muzzle on, since it soft they can push against something and bite stuff.

Finally I got a replacement today after many emails and 6 moths later. They sent it through amazon this time rather than from China which never arrived twice. it all started because The size was not correct, I had to wait for my friend to show me how to put it on my dog, as there were no instructions with the original. It was hurting dog, so immediately removed due to being to small. even though measurements said it should fit. Then it was past return window for Amazon, so contacted seller as they say they will do anything to make customer happy. and like I said above 6 months later we got and both me and my Pooch are happy, Thank you finally. oh and there were instructions in with it. Awesome...

My dog is frequently muzzled, and after trying a multitude of other brands and styles, the Barkless silicone basket muzzle has remained our favorite. He's a 70 lb mix breed with a somewhat blocky head and wears the size 5. He can eat, drink, pant, and safely interact with other dogs and people with this muzzle on.I love how secure the head harness is, though the center strap that run between his eyes is a bit too short and causes the muzzle to sit high up at his eye line and too close to his nose at the front. You can see some of the model dogs have the same problem. I like that the Barkless is made of a softer silicone and provides more coverage than other silicone muzzles we tried.I'm so happy they released a grey muzzle that looks less alarming on my primarily white dog. The satin like texture of the head harness on the grey and blue muzzles tends to slip loose and needs regular adjustments. For this reason and the problem with the short head strap, I replace the Barkless head harness with one of my own making. The silicone portion survives around 1 year of daily wear on my dog.

I had acclimated my dog slowly to a Baskerville muzzle since he is a bite risk around new people and at the vet. However, the harder material of that muzzle seems uncomfortable for him, and he still tries to paw it off. I ordered the Barkless silicone muzzle, and the semi-soft/semi-rigid silicone material is much more comfortable for him! It’s perfect for muzzle training/practice, wearing around the house and on walks, and as a safety precaution around people he’s not completely comfortable with. Be aware that the material could possibly be chewed through if a dog is not properly (slowly!) introduced to wearing it, and it may not provide enough protection on a dog who is highly motivated to attack and bite.My dog is 50 pounds and his shape is similar to a shepherd breed. He measured as a size 3, and while the length and adjustable straps do fit him, the muzzle is too small vertically for him to open his mouth (not big enough for him to pant, take treats, and drink water like these muzzles are designed for). I emailed the company and they are sending me a new one for free, plus I get to keep the original one. I am very happy with this muzzle and with the company’s customer service.
