This yarn holder is amazing and honestly I don’t know why I haven’t gotten one sooner! I bought this to use with big cones, but I tested it out with small 50g skeins and it works like a dream for those too! No more having to pull from the center and ending up with a big knot. It’s super smooth and you don’t need to pull on it to get the yarn to dispense, it turns smoothly with normal knitting/crocheting motions! Highly recommend this for anyone who deals with yarn!

I received this for Christmas. It’s perfect for managing one pound skeins of yarn making crocheting more relaxing . This is much better than winding it into balls to avoid huge tangles. I haven’t used the clamp and it does not slide or rip over at all. I would love to buy more large spindles.

Absolutely love this!! This is my 2nd purchase (i also got the double version for working colorwork or even working 2 separate projects at the same time) No more yarn vomit ... no more tangling of yarn ... and it even fits a large skein of yarn on it ... it spins smoothly and with no resistance!! I feel good buying this since it is made in the Ukraine, and absolutely love how well it works. I don't always wind my yarn into cakes, but either way, this would work well for either cakes or skeins. It is very easy to put together, and it is definitely well made. Highly recommend.

I wanted to love this but the base is too light weight. It does turn easily but I had a jumbo skein on it and was winding a cake, this thing was dancing all over the place.

I am so stinkin' pleased! This thing serves up my cakes and clors as I need them. The rotation is silent and glids effortlessly and smoothly as it feeds the yarn to my hook. Heaven in crochet. Just lovely. So much so I ordered the two-up version. Sometimes I work with a lot of colors. Being able to easily load them is key. Wel done! Just beautiful!
