We got this for our 11 year old son who couldn't get his catcher's glove to break in. We worked it for a month and it kept getting stiff overnight. We ordered the Solaradgy break in kit and it is really good quality. The mallet is all one piece, so there's no way the ball can loosen up or fall off.Our son worked his glove for a few days with the mallet and straps and it made a huge difference. He's finally able to use his glove and he has a nice mallet to break in any new glove he gets. In fact, he got a new glove for his birthday after we got him this mallet and he used it on that glove too! It's priced really well for how good the quality is. This mallet will get a lot of use and isn't a throw away mallet. Keep it around and it will break in lots of gloves for you!

The mallet is well made compared to others that I've seen. The ball on the end is carved as one piece with the handle rather than a ball attached to the end. The glove wraps secure it well when molding.
