I bought this to add some sandbags to the back of my truck, and ended up loading it with 100# of sand. I was honestly surprised that nothing tore when I lifted it up into the back of my truck. No issues with the handles or the zipper, even with that much weight in it. I'd love to have sandbags that I can get in and out of my truck without having them tear open and spill everywhere, and this may be the solution I've looked for. Will try to update after a winter of use.

Our basketball hoop has a sand-filled base but it faces the street and I didn't feel it was stable enough so I ordered it. You unzip the top and drop it in your bag(s) of sand. I bought two 50-pound bags of play sand at my local big box store. I also put the bags into XL garbage bags as I want to keep this bag sand-free. The zipper is protected from the rain. It is made of heavy-duty Oxford cloth and works great as the basketball hope feels much more stable.

I like the size and shape of this anchor. The bright zipper lines are a nice touch. It is just what we needed to keep our goal from tipping over! It even held steady in a storm. Setting it up was a breeze. The handles make it easy to remove from the goal base if needed.

The compact size of this sandbag caught me off guard. While it’s well-made and does a solid job at adding extra weight to stabilize your basketball hoop, its size makes it less practical for anything beyond a smaller hoop. I have a large glass backboard hoop, and this bag seemed minuscule in comparison to the base—something the product image didn’t quite prepare me for. Measuring your base before purchasing is a must.I estimate you could fit maybe three to four standard-sized sandbags inside, which will keep things tidy and organized. If that’s all the weight you need, this bag works great. But if you're looking for something with more heft to truly keep a larger hoop anchored, you’ll probably need to look elsewhere.
