Super Useful! our basketball hoop was falling over all the time, this is great and makes sure it you can fill it with enough weight and great size and shape to work for the hoop stand

This anchor bag is a great solution for stabilizing my heavy bag. The durable 1200D fabric holds multiple bags of concrete without any issues, and the straps attach easily to the anchor chain for complete stability. It dramatically reduces the swing, making the heavy bag a much more effective training tool. Well-made, versatile, and a great value. I definitely recommend it!

The TOBWOLF Basketball Hoop Weighted Base Anchor reminds me of a suitcase I had 25 years ago, high quality fabric, sturdy zipper, large capacity and strap handles.I'm not sure how much pea gravel I finally got inside this anchor bag, but I don't think it was close to 300 pounds. My preference was to use sandbags filled with pea gravel inside the bag instead of dumping the gravel in, but it didn't work out because of the odd shape of the sand bags. I estimate I had 70-80 pounds of gravel in each of the two sandbags, and then another 40-50 pounds loose filled, so a maximum of 180-250 pounds of pea gravel. With regards to the weight that this bag can contain, the relatively low surface contact area of this bag in relation to the size of the basketball stand, it places a high concentration of the weight away from strength of the vertical outside walls, so it is crushing the center of the top of the stand. Also, I recommend not moving the weighted (filled) bag by the handles. I think a shorter height with longer length dimensions would be better to distribute the weight closer to the edges. The securing straps have buckles which you can tighten, but then you have the loose strap ends just hanging and appears untidy.

This is a must have for your basketball hoop set up if you have the movable one with the water tank base. This is easy to fill and strap to your base. I just bought sand from my local gravel distributer and hauled it home in my pickup. It was cheap and easy to fill the bag with. So far it has help up well in the Wyoming weather and wind. However I would still lay the hoop over here just to keep the hoop from blowing over in the 80 mph plus winds my area sees. Not that this bag wont keep it up right but I try to not let my stuff get torn up for no reason.Great extra weight for your hoop.

Make hoop recently fell over with high wind we had. I got this item after getting a new backboard to help protect my investment and keep it upright. I must admit this is really nice idea looks great and discreet no matter what you use. For now I'm using a couple of cinder blocks till I get bags of sand. I did hang on it and tried to push it over and this bag does its job. It has a hane for quick removal. The zipper could be more cover since it will endure extreme weather. Other than that major, major go.

Our basketball hoop has blown over plenty of times in high winds. This has seemed to solve that problem so far in the month of use we've put it through. I can't speak to the UV resistance of the material, but will update if it fails within a year.

We live in a very windy location so when we got our son a basketball hoop we had to get this in addition to help keep it in place. It's worked so far and we're very happy. It seems very sturdy so I'm not worried about it tearing. It's a definite must-have when you've got a basketball hoop not cemented into the ground!
