These are inexpensive for a reason but they do work. I bought these hoping they could add to the eggs in my box for an steelhead trip. The flies work but the hooks are of not great quality and the craftsmanship on some of the flies is less than stellar but again if you just need some egg patterns to get started these would be just fine.

This is an okay assortment for steelhead fishing. I’ve noticed that the flies are tied to an acceptable quality, but I have seen better with similarly priced options from other companies.The included fly box is of good quality for the price and would make a nice gift to a young fisherman looking to build up a fly assortment.I’ve landed a few fish with the assortment and have not noticed any issues with hooks vended or dulling.I would recommend this assortment to a friend.
