Package came with wrong size of ball ends - shipped with 10mm balls but strut clearly requires larger, can't possibly mount these with the hardware provided.

Seemed to work fine, but one of them fell off somewhere while I was driving with my camper shell door open because I was hauling long boards. Now I have to buy another set in order to replace the one that just... fell off. I have never had a strut just fall off before so I expect the retainer clips are no good. The one that is still on the truck seems sturdily fastened.Kinda weird but it is what it is.Otherwise I was happy with them.

I purchased these to hold up the trunk lid of my teardrop trailer that I made. I have used them for a summer and they seem to work well. they were easy to install and are strong. It was a little hard to figure out how strong I needed, but they seem to make it just right. I have used them for about six months now and I’ve had no problem.

Bought these to replace the worn out struts on my Can Tire 5 drawer roll around tool chest. I tried to find the from the seller and from the manufacturer with no luck. A search of Amazon and there they were!45N or 10lb is exactly what I was looking for. They had the correct ends on one side but I had to use the originals on the other but I’m ok with that.Been using them for awhile now, and by that I mean they are used every work day and the lid is staying up!Easy four star, five if I did not need to swap the ends and that’s only because if I was not a pack rat and keep everything I’d not have had the ends as I went without by using a vice grip on the broken rod for months.

I got these for my grandpa's Dodge Dakota. The original struts went bad long ago and these are very affordable replacement parts for what they'd cost elsewhere.They were extremely easy to install and I had 0 issues. The only complaint I have is that it's somewhat difficult to close the lid. I can see my grandfather struggling to close it with these on there, you need a bit of strength.Other than that, they function beautifully and are a perfect fit.

The length of these and the end connections matched my worn out RV awning struts so I guessed on the lift force and bought these. They were tough to install ( lining up the pins) but once I got them in place they worked perfectly.
