Unfortunately after a few uses the connections became extremely difficult to separate! I couldn't take apart without help, which made it hard to store.

I bought the Beach Rat Force anchor on Amazon Prime Day. I purchased this anchor because it looked solid and I like the flexibility of using only the pieces you need depending upon the depth of the water. I received the anchor in a few days and was excited to take my jet ski out and use the anchor at the sand bar. Before going out I put the anchor together. It is a solid anchor. I proceeded to take the anchor apart and could not release the handle from its mating piece. I had to use a lot of force and a little help from a screwdriver to separate the pieces. The locking tabs on the handle would not recess far enough when depressed in order to release the parts. I contacted customer service by email. Phil from Customer Service contacted me back within an hour. He was professional and polite. He apologized to me for the inconvenience. He immediately sent me a replacement anchor which I received in two days. He told me to just hold on to the first anchor and use it (as long as the handle doesn’t need to come apart). I was hoping just to get a replacement handle. I want to thank Phil and Beach Rat for excellent customer service and making a great product. They proved to me that they really value the customer.

I had previously used the Sand Shark version of these, and while these seem great, there is a major flaw. When using these in the sand, they can become impossible to separate. Sand gets behind the release tabs, and locks everything in place. A real pain to deal with.

Had to wait until the weather improved to get it out and use it, but this this works great. Comes with the bag for easy storage and it goes together easily and works like a charm in our boaters beach area. It’s very sturdy. I am actually thinking about buying another to help lock the boat in position by tying it from two points on the boat. Highly recommended.

Hands down the best anchor on the market! Easy to assemble and disassemble. Great price and fits perfectly in the waterproof bag. No trouble whatsoever screwing into the sand, and extremely sturdy. I thought the SandShark Anchor was good, but this blows it out of the water. Doesn't hurt that is matches my jetski either! Highly recommend!!!

Used it to secure my Seadoo 300 GTX on a lake beach during a really crazy windstorm, and this anchor didn't budge! I love that it collapses down to different lengths and includes a carry bag so the pieces are kept together while in storage.
