Easy to hold, is light weight and does the job-used for stamping metal and texture.

This is a light tapping hammer from what I see on Youtube. So I lightly tape my wire for weaving and this hammer easily scratches and dents. Disappointed. Made in India and does not appear new. Debating whether to return. Price was okay. Just not sure if it will end up damaging my wires, hm....

The tool is exactly as mentioned in description. Very well made and as of good quality.I was looking for a tool like this to give very controlled force on a certain point. Due to the big handle it is easy to control. The only disadvantage are the quite high shipping cost - as known when shipped from UK.

Me a llegado puntual , pero venia como con arañazos en el metal y defectuoso , ya que tenia como un golpecillo, eso no impide nada a hacer su desempeño. Pero si compras.algo nuevo que menos que este impoluto.

Not as pictured and the metal on the hammer was flaking - making marks in my metal designs when I hammer them.

This is a cool little hammer! It makes me laugh every time I take it out but it is just what you need to get the job done. Nice weight and feel to it. Don't try to do home improvement and you'll be o.k.!

The Chasing Hammer seems to be working great. I love to use it so my metal stampings have that dented design which gives it a more aged look that I'm trying to achieve. It's also great when you need a lighter pound than your stamping hammer. Great product for the price.

This hammer has everything I need to make my copper bracelets. It flattens copper wire so that it is nice and smooth and also hardens it.

This is a qualitative hammer with a very good wooden handle and the right weight for the job. It has a lovely shine on its metal surface. Ideal for fretting stringed musical instruments!

I am appalled that a tool whose very purpose is to shape malleable metal should begin losing flakes of its chrome coating at its very first use. This makes annoying little tool marks on my expensive silver. I'm angry about this, especially considering that Beadalon usually makes better quality items. I wondered whether it made any sense to buy a special chasing hammer when I have a perfectly lovely hardened steel hammer that hasn't been wrecked by the things I've hammered with it. Turns out I should have saved my money. I gave it two stars because the head hasn't yet flown off the handle. I think I'll just keep this by my bedside to brandish at burglars as it's no use for smithing.
