The SUA-120 advanced alarm monitor connects to the bed sensor pad and alarms in the patient room when pressure is removed from the sensor pad. The alarm monitor automatically resets when the patient returns to the sensor pad, or alarm can be reset via the tamper-resistant 3-press reset feature.

It says u can turn volume down and also mute patients room but no instructions come with it abd when asking on amazon site they dont have any specifics so im returning it
