The metal snapped in half, while the only thing attached to the rack was an empty plastic milk crate, after just one week of use. I don't know how they can claim that this rack holds 22 lbs, when it can't even carry a 2.5 lbs piece of plastic. It's cheaply made, and overpriced.

This Bell Caddy Rear Bike Rack is awesome!. It's my second purchase, my other bike was recently stolen and the rear rack was lost as well so I had to quickly purchase another one for this bike. I use it every day and it holds up well when transporting goods on it. I love the bungee cord that's included. The length of the rack can also be adjusted, mounting and unmounting is a breeze with the quick lock mechanism. Bell makes great bike accessories. Item shipped fast and secure.

So easy to install and use. I do. Lot of riding on mountain bike trails and rail trails. Easy to take on and off and big enough for my pack to carry food, water, and gear. Worth it.

Now that's a great rack. Lightweight aluminum and super useful. Did take a bit of manhandling to get it to fit right since not all bikes have the holes in the same place. But once you have installed it, you will never look back.Adds a lot of utility to your bike.

Is built well and is sturdy, but I'm a little dissatisfied with its tendency to move side-to-side when bumped. I have it on the seat pole very tightly and even added additional rubber around the pole to help it grip, but it will still move when bumped hard enough. I'm afraid to tighten it any further out of fear of stripping the screws, so I guess I have to live with it.
