I got this on my bike and working without trimming it. I put it on wrong at first and had to take it off. Figuring out how to do this was tricky. While holding the chain, bend in and then twist. It will feel like you're being too rough with it, but this is how to get the master link to pop open. If you had some proper tools, might be easier. I did it with just my hands.

This chain does not have real rollers. Instead it has "rollers" stamped into the inner link. Since this is stationary the chain and sprockets will wear quicker.

So I didn’t use this for the intended use, like to replace a bicycle chain or similar. I got a chain breaker and began breaking these into the separate pieces. Then I began assembling them along with a few other items, and I made what I call “fidget flippers”. They are just little things that you can roll around in between your thumb and fingers. It helps people who have nervous energy who constantly need to fidget with some thing but it’s a very quiet item. You can use it at school and church and no one will know that you’re using it. It’s super easy to take apart if you have that chain breaker tool , but that’s a must for me. This chain is pretty heavy duty. Very good quality. It works for what I needed it for. I chose this darker color because I thought it would be good for the guys if they wanted some thing of a more muted color it looks great on the keychain and I was able to find key rings to match this perfectly. These were a hit at my recent craft fair. Thanks for reading my review.

The chain was two links longer than my previous chain so nearly spot on. Only issue is fitting the master link. Takes some elbow grease, needle nose plier or bike link plier to align the master link so you can snap it close. Looks nice even though the master link is a different color but that makes it easier to identify what to remove. Will update if the ride quality says otherwise. I applied oil to chain after installing.

I had a bike tech install it, the attaching link with the chain was bent and my package had been opened previous. That said, chain is fine and price was great.

I thought this chain thinking it was a gold match my bike but it turns out that it is not cold at all it is black which is fine except for the fact that I chose it because of its color it is going back but it looks like a very well-made chain belt makes very good things for bicycles I am just be aware that I will not come to color you want it’s made in Taiwan which is better than China made I suppose good luck

Got a mountain bike with badly rusted chains for free! Took the rusted chains off, and wondering if this one would fit the bike. As it has a master links, so I can save some $$ for a chain install tool.It fits 100% perfect with that 18speed mountain bike. On the user's manual, it says chain install tool required.But you ABSOLUTELY DO NOT need it! I bent the chain toward the notch, and put the pin in. It locks the chain perfect!!It's cheap compare to other brand, and worked fine. More important, there is no need for chain install tool!!
