This is a wonderful skillet! The design of it is nice and compact, yet the cooking area in the skillet is spacious. It has some great features, like the ability to lock the lid into place. Also, it has a slot where you can stand the lid up on the side of the skillet which is really handy for when you want to serve the food, but don't have a great place to put the lid. The lid itself can go in the upper rack of the dishwasher, while the bottom needs to be hand-washed. I will likely hand-wash both pieces since I have to hand-wash the bottom anyway. Interestingly, the skillet part does not come off of the base heating implement. It's screwed together, so when you wash it, you just have to be careful not to let water pour into the area where it plugs in—pretty much like every other electric cooking device. Very nice product!

I bought this and returned it. Their whole brand is about saving space and this is a nightmare to store. The pan looks like it comes out and can be used as Tupperware to store in the fridge - it does not. It is all attached in one piece. The clips are only there to lock the lid in place if you want to move the whole device somewhere else and heat it back up. Others have raised concerns about it trapping dirt in weird spots over time because you can’t take the pan off of the griddle. Love the brand but this is a no from me. Hope this helps.

On the surface, this pretty nonstick electric skillet looks and sounds great; who wouldn't love a cooking pan that's basically cook and go? But on closer inspection, I'm less than impressed. To begin with, nothing comes apart; when you "go," you go with the entire pan, controls and all. That the pan doesn't detach also makes cleaning in all those crannies under the pan quite difficult, and because the controls don't come off, it can't go in the dishwasher. The biggest issue for me, though, is that while the description says it's free of several potentially harmful chemicals, the box clearly lists a cancer warning for a substance that's banned in California. No, I don't live in that fair state, but I'm not totally on board with using anything that has a chemical warning on it.

Didn't know anything about this brand, but I'm glad I took a chance. The skillet is well-made, with a few thoughtful touches. The lid locks work well; they slide open and closed easily and have a tactile stop so you know they're fully engaged. I thought storage of (another!) kitchen gadget was going to be a problem, but there is a place for the temperature dial and cord to store within the handle. And you can store the whole thing upright, on its side if you want.I found that it heats up very quickly and maintains an even temperature. The size was the biggest surprise. Description I've cooked a few things on this for which I would normally break out my jumbo saute pan. No problem, size-wise; it's very deep and has a large surface area. Cleaning was super easy. The lid is of course dishwasher safe, but I always was pots and pans in the sink. The actual cooking & heating part is NOT dishwasher safe (and do not separate), but it wiped clean easily. My only small concern is that food or sauce may get trapped under the handles or between the cooking surface and the base. I'll update if that becomes a problem.Overall, very happy I got this.

This is a nice electric skillet. The description make and take gives the idea that you can take the dish part out when this isn't the case. It has clamps to keep it closed while transporting but you have to take the whole unit. It cooks evenly and the non-stick surface works well. It was a nice replacement for my previous electric skillet.

The skillet is an excellent size for family dinners or party entrées. It has a ceramic nonstick coating that should make cleaning a breeze - although, much like a waffle iron, you cannot remove the pan from the base for cleaning. In my experience, ceramic cookware can discolor over time with daily cooking so be aware of that possibility. I like that this can snap the lid in place to secure the food for transportation but I probably wouldnt do any long distance travel with this as it is an appliance. I plan on using it with a heat safety mat underneath to protect my countertops. Also note that the rod that connects the electrical component had burn marks which I assume is from product testing but I'm not sure. Will update my review after a few months of use but for now it's four stars. I feel this appliance is more work than a crockpot and not as easy to use as a skillet or frying pan so I dont think its as convenient as I was expecting. Again, read the instructions thoroughly before use!
