Rubber will not stay in place, and the two magnets will not hold

Fits my vice but sometimes comes off with whatever I have in vice.

Look nice and material is good quality- however, the magnets are not strong. I drilled a hole and used gorilla glue to hold another neodymium small magnet I bought from Harbor Freight. Now it holds well. Thats why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.

A bit cheap in quality, but they work. I use them for gentle clamping, but I did put them to a test while trying to torque an item to 35ftlbs and I couldn’t clamp my vice tight enough to keep them from sliding out of the jaws. But for gentle detail work clamping they are great.

Of course I failed to properly measure my vise for these, or I measured well and forgot the reading. No matter, because they are magnetic and can move around with little concern. Very useful and inexpensive enough that they can be replaced as needed.

Most excellent addition to any shop vise. They simple snap on(held by magnets) and protect your projects. The rubber is tough and sturdy and feels like it will last a long time. Highly recommended for any task where you could scratch or scrape. I use it for just about everything now to avoid the teeth marks of my bench vise.

Does exactly what's it's intended to do. magnets are strong and the rubber pads are just the right density to protect the object being clamped, while not being to soft to the point of breaking down after only a few uses. Recommended. If you found my review helpful, please select yes.

I use this with my Pony 3" adjustable clamp / vice. It's good for items which you don't want to scratch. When I sharpened my lawnmower blades I didn't use it, but it worked fine for holding items which are softer by nature. The magnets are sufficient enough to hold the clamps on the vice - you really don't need strong magnets, since you're generally tightening working projects anyway. The rubber appears to be of good quality and is soft enough, yet hard enough under pressure to not release your project. There's not much which can go wrong with this project, and I'm sure it can be used on a number of different size vices, but I like to match the sizes.
