If you have ever tried to grind aluminum, then you know it is not easy. These flap disks grind 6061 & 5032 better than anything I have ever use. If you spray them with PAM you will even have less buildup.

I figured I couldn’t go wrong (good or bad) with one purchase since these are pretty inexpensive. For the price you will not find anything close…also 1-2 day prime delivery is unbeatable! Will continue to reorder as long as the price stays reasonable

I used this to smooth out Cast iron as the last grit before switching to orbital sander. Worked great. Seems well balanced. And the grit seems to last.

I have used flap discs from big box stores, "professional grade" ones, and my share of inexpensive (and cheap) ones. I go through a lot of them and those from Benchmark Abrasives are, so far, the best price for quality I have found. And these new fillet weld discs are no exception. They work as I would expect them to and last the same. If you are looking for a fillet weld disc, try these. If looking for type 27 or 29 regular discs, I highly recommend any from them as well.
