Beautiful piece of machining on this bike stem, gorgeous and fits perfect. This beauty fit right into place and holds firm. Just remember this is made of aluminum and the threaded holed can strip if over torqued. It holds just the part right where I wanted and without allowing it to walk or travel around the axis of one of the center holed. IT HELD TIGHT. 💯💯💯

While I wouldn't trust this on anything more than blue square rated trails. Anything more like black diamond is too much. That said, for a casual bike, the neck seems plenty solid. As for color, that's up to you. The anodizing seems fine but I can't tell how deep it is. I feel like at this price point, the acid etch isn't going to be too deep. So if you keep it out in the sun, it will fade fast. If you are building a bike, this would be fine to pick up (casual bike build). As for a replacement, maybe if you have one that is broken or corroded. If you want to change up the angle, that might be a reason as well.
