This is great! I was cutting hard boiled eggs by hand and looked for a utensil to do it. I put it in the dishwasher top rack, and it comes out great.

This "egg slicer" is poorly designed and manufactured.The folded metal work is made in several sections that are pressed and spot welded such that the seams and joins have cavities that fill with egg, and can't be easily cleaned. The cutting wires are not very taut and the locking mechanism is counter intuitive and temperamental.
