My pampered chef egg slicer had an accident and died. It was a hit and run by my husband. Soooo I had to replace it, and I found this one on Amazon Vine. I really like this little gadget even better than my old PC one that I had for 20 plus years. it was a great egg slicer except the frame of the lid would catch all kinds of pieces of egg and would need disassembly for washing, which is where my husband had the run in.This one has much more clearance on the sides of the lid and I'm pretty sure this will outlive me and my husband.

Becuase of the shape, this is perffect for hard boiled eggs. however, because of the shape, it is more difficult to use with non-oval things. You kind of have to hold the cheese block in place while cutting because it's not a flat surface.

Cutting your hard-boiled eggs manually with a knife is a thankless job and I was looking for a way to enjoy a little more of my egg than I was simply cutting it in half. Enter this egg-slicer. Simple to use but very effective, requires no installation. Egg goes within egg shaped groove with the blade lifted up and when you lower the hinge and bring the blade down you have perfectly even slices of your hard boiled egg. Easy enough to clean and takes up no space, you can pop it into a drawer until you're ready. Helpful little addition to breakfast.

I ordered this to replace another model I had that was too small for large sized eggs. I also like to use a slicer for mushrooms when I’m making soup. This works great for both. Slices all the way through. Also, it’s super easy to clean. I just put it in the top rack of my dishwasher and that was it. Definitely a great value!

This Bennra Egg Slicer can be used for other things and I'm a big fan of it's multipurpose use. While it is shaped for an egg and works perfectly for that, it worked really well on fruit and chopped lettuce with ease. I didn't have any cherry tomatoes and the ones I had were too big for this device, but after quartering it for a better fit, the blades cut cleanly through the tomato as well. Tomatoes may be tasty, but I'm not a fan of slicing and dicing them. This handy little device made cutting things easier, it's dishwasher safe, and is definitely worth $8.

Very nice egg slice. Does what you want it to. Does not mash the eggs. Nice even slices.
