worked just fine at first snd now after a couple weeks it keeps having issues. sometimes it beeps sooo freaking loud for no reason and will only stop by turning it off.started changing the chanels/songs itself. same with volume if you have navigation on and play music at the same time. volume up does not always work. it should work better for that price but u can tell its cheap china product.also does not connect to others so communication only works if you make a phine call

UPDATE: After a few rides, I noticed the screws on the mount were loose. When I went to tighten them, the clamp snapped (see photo). I’m really disappointed, especially since Betowey doesn’t sell any of the mount kit pieces separately.I’m about to start getting back into riding and needed a new Bluetooth device. So far, this product seems to work well! Installation was pretty simple too. The only difficult aspect of it was the mic, but it was largely due to my helmet being a modular and having to adjust the mic accordingly. Once I had everything installed, I made a test call with the helmet on and the other person said she didn’t have any issues hearing me. Also, I had no issues pairing the device with my phone and the music is super clear. The only reason I gave four stars was because I haven’t tested it while riding yet.

For the price it works as intended. It's great for listening to music and taking phone calls while riding, but it doesn't have all the features that the more expensive units do. If you're a beginner biker and are just looking for something to listen to music and make calls this might be good for you. If you're planning on riding with others, I would suggest you find out what they are using and match your unit to what they have. There is a good chance that this headset will not be compatible with what others are using.I had no issues installing this into my current helmet. Just make sure that your helmet has the recessed areas for the speakers.

Update: After my 1 star review the seller reached out to me and offered me a replacement set. The new unit took a while to come in the mail, but now it's here, and it works great. The installation in the helmet took a bit longer than I expected. I have a Fly Racing Sentinel full face helmet. At first it was difficult to find the right placement for the ear pieces. When put directly in the ear space in the helmet, they were extremely uncomfortable and made putting the helmet on painful. Once I adjusted the earpieces, everything felt much better. I can still feel they are there, but they're not hurting my ears. I had to re-stick the Velcro which worried me because I thought it would lose its stickiness, but thankfully, that was not the case. The voice control uses Bixby on my Android and is very easy to use.I took this out of the box and decided to try it out before attaching it to my helmet. It paired really easily with my phone. At first, there was no sound coming out of the headset, even though the music on my phone was playing. It turned out that you have to push the cable in very firmly. No big deal, once it worked, the music was really loud. The quality wasn't amazing, but good enough at this price point. Then I realized that only one earpiece was delivering sound - the other one was silent. When I was flipping the unit over in my hands, the broken earpiece would get sound intermittently. It turns out the wire connection was improper, and when I pushed the wire in, the music would work, but when I let go or moved the unit, it would stop. I cannot comment on the intercom function or helmet installation, since I will not be attaching this unit to my helmet.

Nicely packaged unit comes with everything you need to install it in your motorcycle helmet. I wish I could move it from one helmet to another, but the way this is designed that's not possible, so pick which of your helmets you'll use this the most in and go with thatIf you get a pair of these, you can communicate with a fellow rider which is sometimes pretty helpful, but I only got the one headset which is easy to link up to my iPhone. The nice thing about that is I can now put my phone on the handlebar and hear the voice instructions from my GPS, which was more than a little problem before.I tend not to answer phone calls nor listen to musice when I'm riding...I like to hear what's going on around me but this will work great if you want to listen to music.Works very well and it's amazing how much less expensive these full featured headsets have become even in the last couple of years.

The vast majority of my fellow riders have Cardo Systems. Unfortunately if you don't have a Cardo, you can't communicate with them. (The workaround being that you can Bluetooth call them, but obviously that only works with another single rider, not a group.)So, this headset is a great option for people looking to not spend 10x more on other systems. The setup was easy to understand and only required a couple 3M strips to attach. The sound quality is really good overall, but starts to get distorted in the higher volumes when trying to compensate for wind or bike noise, but that's to be expected. All in all, a great and affordable unit for single rides to listen to audio, hear notifications or take a quick call.

This headset is a little bulkier than I expected and makes my helmet a little too snug. I also ran into the problem of not being able to hear phone calls very well like I have with another headset I tried. Music sounds great, and it's easy to get linked up to my phone, but the call volume is lacking. I likely won't be using it much.
