Waited so long to order this and was thrilled when it was installed. Have a shop in a Victorian building, so aesthetically it works well. It’s as nice as it looks in the pictures. Sturdy except for the lock on the little door where you pull out your mail. The lock seems like it’s not big enough so it’s really loose and barely holds on. Falls out all the time. The big issue and why I gave it such a low rating…the mailman cannot deliver any magazines or manila envelopes. Since this is at a business, the inability to receive full sheet size mail is a huge problem. So now we have to find another mailbox. Really bummed because this one is so cute.

Looks as suspected. The metal is so thin, it can break easily if bent. The mounting pieces were different sizes, so the screw did not fit in the mounting hole. Very very frustrating. Ihad to make my own way to mount it.

I really love the look of this mailbox! But the mailman cannot fit catalogues in it. Even business size envelopes don't fit right. So sad!

I recently bought an old house so I needed a vintage mailbox. I immediately fell in love when I saw this one! It was super easy to install and the color is perfect against my white house. My only complaints is that it doesn’t latch closed without putting a lock on it. Also it didn’t come with any mounting hardware. Overall though, I love it and would buy again if needed.
