I picked this up to replace the original gasket on my Large Big Green Egg, and overall, it’s a solid product. The wire mesh fiberglass construction feels like a big step up from the factory gasket—more heat-resistant, more durable, and it creates a better seal once installed.At 16 feet, there’s plenty of length for a large BGE, even with a bit left over. The included adhesive backing holds up well once everything is cured, and I haven’t noticed any leaks or issues since the swap. Temps are holding more consistently, and the dome feels more snug and secure when closed.The only downside is the install process requires patience. Removing the old gasket takes some elbow grease, and getting this one lined up just right—especially with the wire mesh—can be a little tricky. Take your time and follow the instructions carefully (a heat gun helps with removal, by the way).Once it’s on, though? Totally worth the effort. It’s a solid, long-lasting upgrade for anyone who uses their Egg regularly and wants better performance.

I would recommend these for sure. The tape sticks well to the surface and does a great job of sealing up my grill.

Smoker seals leaked allowing heat and smoke to escape. Replaced with this gasket. Problem solved.

My bargain 4 station BBQ grill does browning, gas, and charcoal just fine. However, the smoker part is not so stellar. After some research, I found this item would seal up the smoke box and the charcoal box to keep the heat in and let it flow from the smoker box through the charcoal box correctly. The cooker is still cheap and less than stellar but this stuff has made a huge difference. It sealed the cooker and the smoker well enough so that I can now actually smoke and slow cook. I tried the silicone sealer but this stuff was much easier and really did the job.

My pit boss smoker was always difficult at maintaining a consistent temperature. After reading the reviews I decided to try this product out. I spent about an hour cleaning all the grease and smoke buildup from around the lid on the smoker. I followed the instructions and applied the felt tape around the edge of the lid of the smoker. I was planning on disassembling the whole thing and sealing all the joints of the smoker. We had a small gathering of friends coming over the next day so I didn’t have time to disassemble the whole thing. I smoked 3 racks of ribs and the smoker held the temperature perfectly. I’m not going to seal anything else. I don’t know why the smoker didn’t come with this to begin with, but now my temperature problems are cured. I highly recommend this for anyone who has a pit boss pellet smoker

After all the reviews and research reading I came across a few videos talking about adding this gasket even a few more suggesting adding it prior to seasoning.So as a person finally getting my version of bbg paradise, I added from the jump and it works amazing. I recommend this to everyone and those that have listened, love it.

This thing, *chefs kiss* Itsa noice! Cleaned up area proper, installed easily, held nicely.Kid and dog watched entire time as if to usher “we need to hurry this up old timer!” After coming to temp I hard to double check i wasn’t tripping when I noticed the smoke not seeping out the doors and we combatting the heat loss! Managed to hold a lovely 180 all night, did a 17 hour smoke on a brisket that weekend. It was straight tittys! This is the tits, get it
