These look and function just like the branded quicklinks. So far it's been through ~25 trail miles and it's holding up just like any other.

This type of product either works or it doesn't. I snapped these into place and found that they fit perfectly. I've been riding on them for a month, primarily single track, and they have held in place without issue. The convenience of being able to quickly unsnap your chain is great. You get four pairs, so when one wears out, you have three more! Can't go wrong with this.

I took a gamble here because the listing is very unclear. An order for Qty 1 gets you 4 links. I received 2 packs, each containing qty 2 rainbow 11sp quick links. The links look good and look like they’ll work fine with my shimano 11sp drivetrain.

These visually are exactly the same length and width as the one included with my Shimano Ultegra 11sp. chain, which only has a few hundred miles on it so no need to remove it at this point. I will keep one as a spare in my saddle bag, and update with further info whenever I use one. 4 for $11 seems to be an excellent value compared to OEM.

Super impressed that these have two master links per package for a total of four links. Great value! Man if you can’t fix your chain with four master links, then *nothing* is going to get you home. My brother and I rode bicycles 3,000 miles from San Diego to Florida last year and due to the weight and bulk, we didn’t carry spare chains, and were both really concerned about snapping our chains out in the middle of nowhere. Fortunately, we didn’t have chain problems, but I wish we would’ve had these with us just for peace of mind. We are going to ride from Vancouver Canada to the Mexico border in September and believe me these quick links are coming along for the ride. Recommended.

If you remove chains regularly for cleaning and/or immersion waxing, reasonably priced multi-use quick-links such as these are an attractive option. These links are available in several finishes. You can choose one to match your chain. Or you can pick a contrasting color to more easily locate the quick-link when removing a chain.

I'm good about not shifting under load, and I have ridden mtn & road for many miles & years without a chain issue. But, I managed to snap my chain recently ... still not sure how it happened. I had a tool kit with basic versatile tool set, CO2, etc ... but WITHOUT chain tools. Never again! I now have a couple of quick links and a small chain tool in my kit.I have a SRAM Eagle 12spd quick link, but wanted some backups. The SRAM links are directional. These links are bi-directional which should be more convenient ... you can't accidentally install them backwards or upside down. These links fit my SRAM Eagle 12spd XX1 chain perfectly. If they fail unexpectedly, I'll update this review. Based on my initial inspection and installation, I don't foresee any problems.

I apply chain lube every time I ride. I start at the master link and work my way around until I get back to it. That way I know I've done the whole chain. It can be tricky to find the master-link while spinning the chain, though. So I got this master link, in 'Rainbow, to make it readily apparent where the master link was. It works perfectly for that. The rainbow finish is nice-enough. It looks really thinly applied but has held up alright so far. I do wish the link fit my 9-speed KMC chain a bit better. It seems a bit wide, more like it was made for an 8-speed chain, despite being stamped 9-spd.
