Good quality triple-crankset and easy to install (you need a crank (pedal) removal tool or need to have your bicycle repair shop remove them them for you). I upgraded from a single sprocket so that I could pedal at higher speed with less effort. It works great!

Whether it's genuine or not is difficult to say, but based on the stampings in various locations and the good overall build quality, I'd assume it's the real thing (tourney crank is only worth in the $30 range anyhow). No sharp edges, casting imperfections, or the like. It's heavy, thick, and not pretty to look at, but I can't imagine it catastrophically failing under normal use.The chainrings are riveted in place, so no disassembly--neither can the crank arm come off. The plastic guard is removable, thankfully, but is very useful if you're putting it on a folding bike (as I am).The bolt caps are pure rubbish. Plastic, snap in place. It works though and no fancy tools required (just a flathead screwdriver).Pretty happy with it! Will update if there are problems after installation.

At $30 this crankset is a bargain. Online prices for identical cranksets are routinely higher. This is, however, a quite pedestrian crankset, with riveted or welded sprockets (aka chainrings). Better 3-ring cranksets use bolted chainrings that allow one to readily change the gearing by replacing individual sprockets. I have several times gone to extreme lengths to remove the smallest 24 tooth sprocket (like this one) in a welded crankset to replace it with a smaller 22 tooth sprocket, to more easily climb hills.Contrary to the information in the description, this crankset is not Relwears brand and it was not manufactured by Relwears. This is a low-end Shimano crankset, in Shimano's Tourney series. Shimano has been making reliable cranksets forever and this one will work well enough.3-sprocket cranksets, like this one, are seriously out of style. Modern (higher end) cranksets put more sprockets at the rear wheel, and only one sprocket up front. It doesn't bother me that this is not of the new single-front-sprocket type. Neither are my bicycles.
