I electrified my mountain bike and needed a carrier to install a heavy 56V 20A LiOn battery. My bike has a cut in its frame and spring suspension. Initially I got a very light aluminum carrier that is attached to the seat rod. I had to engineer a black pipe extension that was attached to the rear fork to install it, but still it was too flimsy to provide sturdy support. This one is made from aluminum alloy, not general purpose pure aluminum. It looks a lot more sturdy and has attachment points within the rear fork of the bike frame making it fully compatible with spring suspended bike frames. My bike has 26” wheels and it fits perfectly. On top it has a removable spring clamp. It also has a rear / turn light mount on the back, so lights mounted on the seat rod can be moved there and never be obstructed by anything you place on the platform.

Sehr stabiler Gepäckträger. War erst etwas skeptisch, aber er passt perfekt auf mein Mountainbike und war dank des kompletten Montagematerials innerhalb von 10 Minuten montiert

Die Achsverbindungen fluchten so schlecht, dass hier auch mit "hinbiegen" nichts zu machen ist. Diese Qualität setzt sich bei der Rücklichthalterung fort: komplett schief angeheftet. Schade, macht sonst einen guten Eindruck, Teile sind auch nett vormontiert- geht zurück mit der Hoffnung nächstes Mal kein Montagsmodell zu bekommen.
