This is a very cute cross stitch. The material is normal stiffness for a preprinted cross stitch and the paper pattern is easy to read which means when I want to do a second one for another family member I will be able to recreate it doing counted cross stitch. There are some areas with confetti stitching and a surprising amount of colors which really bring this to life. If you hate backstitching this may not be for you, but I don’t mind backstitching as it brings the fine details to life. The only flaw is some of the printing on the material is off, but very little so I’m able to work out the one area of the material where this is an issue and this is the reason for the star deduction. The threads are really nice and don’t tangle easily. I had to put this aside for some renovations we are doing, but look forward to completing it soon.

I love the giraffe but the thread send is horrible. The thread frays after a one row of stitch (10 stitches). I look over the other threads and it has frays in it. just working around.
