I have worked on many baby quilts before, and this particular one has been a disappointment. The color chart is very confusing and some of the thread colors are missing in the kit. Additionally the pattern print is blurred in sections and the cross stitch size is occasionally inconsistent. I am very disappointed with the quality of the product and the poor quality control.

I enjoyed cross stitching this quilt. The directions were easy to follow and there was an ample supply of floss included.

It looks great, just like the picture and words here. But when I got it and started it, its not super plain for what to do, and it is missing some of the threads, i would say about 10 colors are missing.

The design is cute and the colors are fun, but I was disappointed in the quality, even for Tobin brand. I have never liked their quilts as much as Dimensions, but this one was particularly disappointing. The stamped design was messed up by the quilting in the fabric. The ink appeared to be rubbed away in places and was distorted so that the crosses to stitch are uneven. Since the entire design shifts around the quilting stitches, there really is no good way to fix it on your own. I will probably finish the quilt, but am disappointed that the finished product won’t look very neat.

This was super fun but I finished it after the baby was born so make sure you start early. The little star in the left hand lower corner is by far the hardest part.

It's a wonderful kit. I had read previous reviews about lack of thread, so I purchased the DMC floss at my fabric store and so far it looks awesome. Yes, it is something that takes time to do, but that is where putting LOVE into making it comes in. Exactly as described, actually even BETTER than I had hoped!Please, don't let the naysayers steer you away from this kit. If you plan, follow instructions, it's adorable. Matching the colors that are included on the scheme with the thread that's included, well, that could be a challenge. Just get DMC, which they provide numbers for, and get that instead. For about $5 at a fabric store, it makes this much easier to do.Oh, and while I have done many projects, it's been many years, so I consider myself in the novice group now.
