The Way To Install

My 18 pound Siberian cat walked over about 6 feet of these spikes in order to get where he wanted to go. He was slow and cautious, but he did make it over. There are no gaps in my installation. The points are certainly very sharp, and easy to install, but my particular cat didn’t seem to care. Now what!?

Having a hard time rating these. They are very sharp and I am currently bleeding from trying to pick one up off the ground. While they may be effective, I would not consider them humane.

These are very sharp! They came stacked and connected down the middle. They could be left extra wide (~3”) or snapped in half to fit on something narrower (~1.5”).

I ordered to attach to a wooden pole that a bird feeder sit on. These are helping to keep squirrels from climbing and raiding the feeder. Install was simple with screw holes already in the spike pieces. Each sheet can be broken down to accommodate what size is needed. Good value and they are helping with the issue I was having.

works better than I expected. The spikes may be plastic, but they feel like metal and are very pointy and sharp. I installed them with alien glue on a front porch window pane and on a rear pane in the backyard to discourage stray cats from perching on them, and it is working like a charm. Wonderful product.

I've had extensive problems with raccoons over the last few years. Our cameras have shown that they have been climbing this support post to get onto the roof to tear holes in it and get into the attic. We have tried everything from carpet tack strips to the wire bird spikes on that post. They just climbed over all of it.So we have thrown down the gauntlet. And I'm happy to say that in the last 6 months, no one has tried to climb that post!These points are definitely sharp and sturdy. We did scratch our hands when being careless installing them, so be careful. But rest assured, this is an absolute deterrent to critters.

A bird kept trying to build a nest over our storm shutter above the front door. Last year when we went out the door the bird would attack us. This year we got smart and ordered these spikes. After clearing the partially built nest out a few times. The spikes arrived. So easy just take out of box and place where you need and magic. The bird found another place to go. No harm to the bird and no harm to our heads. Highly recommend this product.
