About Us
Our story begins in 1945, in the wake of the typical craftsmanship of the Strona Valley and of the villages that overlook the eastern shore of the Lake Orta. Bisetti combines skillful local artisan tradition with the most modern machinery and equipment to ensure quality standards that the market the new millennium requires. In 2018, Bisetti moved the the modern factory in Omegna, Italy. It is here that Bisetti still continues to produce wooden table and kitchen items.
Mechanism
The mechanism for pepper
The mechanism of Bisetti’s pepper mill is made of hardened steel. The double row of rotor arranged teeth, holds and
guides the peppercorns for a perfect grind. The zinc coating protects the grinding system from oxidation, ensuring
the sharpening and wear resistance.
The mechanism for salt
The mechanism of Bisetti’s salt mill is made of high resistance ceramics. All the metal components are made of stainless
steel and aluminum in order to resist to corrosion.

Roma
The Roma collection of salt & pepper mills are made of beech wood with either a natural or walnut-stain finish. Traditional style. Comes in a variety of sizes.
Firenze
The Firenze collection of salt & pepper mills are made of beech wood with shiny lacquered finish for a more contemporary look. Colors include black, red, and white in a variety of sizes.
Imperia
The Imperia collection of salt & pepper mills are made of solid olive wood. Olive wood is know for it's beautiful wavy texture. This collection is sure to add beauty to any table
Acrylic
Milano
The Milano collection is a traditional line with its rounded head and curvy mill body. Mill body is made of clear acrylic. Comes in a variety of sizes.
Verona
The Verona collection is a more contemporary look with its linear mill shape body. Body is made of clear acrylic. Comes in a variety of sizes
Perugia
The Perugia collection is a beautiful collection with its rounded head and linear body. The body of the mill is clear acrylic with the option of a stainless steel base in some models. Come in a variety of sizes

Holiday
The christmas tree collection is designed by Whynot Design. The mill body is made of beech wood. Mill measure 155 mm or 6 inches.
Mushrooms
The mushroom collection is desinged by Itamar Harari. The mill body is made of beech wood with the option of red or brown finish on the head. This mill measures 135 mm or 5.3 inches.
Vases
The vase collection is designed by Adam + Harboth. Made of beech wood, the mill comes in multi-color, red or black. Mills has 2 sizes 160 mm and 190 mm or 6.3 in and 7.5 inch.

Il faut se méfier de la qualité de certain moulin à poivre/moulin à sel (même Peugeot !) mais vous pouvez aller sur celui-ci sans hésiter ! J'ai découvert ce produit dans un restaurant qui en avait mis à toutes les tables ! Très beau et bonne qualité !

We visited Italy recently as a family. While at a restaurant in Florence, my husband was using the pepper mill and declared "this is the nicest pepper grinder I've ever used!". I had him check for a brand name and it said "Bisetti". After some research, I learned this was THE Italian brand. During the remainder of our trip, I looked for stores that might carry the pepper and salt mills but didn't have any luck. I would have loved to buy it IN Italy but was really happy to see Amazon sold them as well. We ordered the salt and pepper mills (and got rid of all of the crappy ones we've accumulated over the years) as a post-trip souvenir. They are such a great quality, I really think they'll last the rest of our lives and be passed on to our kids! We love them and the special memory of how we discovered them.

I think this grinder is fabulous. The only negative points are it doesn’t seem like it holds much in the tank and then refilling frequently is going to do a number on the top screw on closure, which is plastic.

Beautifully crafted and smooth wood. Works well. Had darker & smaller version for pepper. Nice combination.
