Cleans well easy to maneuver but does have a high pitch whine while vacuuming which is annoying. Earplugs would help with this or good quality earbuds.

I bought this to replace my Dyson stick vac, and so far, it’s been a solid choice. My 12-year-old grandson easily assembled it, which was a plus. The suction is strong and has picked up dirt that my Dyson missed. I also like that it’s lightweight and fairly compact. The only downside is the smaller canister, so I have to empty it more often than I did with my Dyson. Overall, it's a great vacuum!

We bought this vacuum for $195.68 on November 4, 2023. We only used it occasionally in our smallish 1,900 sqft townhome, most of which is hardwood floors. A couple weeks ago it started to vibrate quite a bit and just today (July 12, 2024) it flat out quit. I opened up the bottom panel on the vacuum head and as you can see the "felt" bearing(s) on the non-drive side is completely burned up and missing. I can't believe they don't even put real bearings in these things anymore. I thought that this being a "pet" vacuum and also being quite a bit more expensive than your typical vacuum ($100 -$150), it would last for a while and be a bit more robust. Note that we do not have any pets indoor or outdoor in our home, so the amount of hair is not extreme by any means. The previous vacuum I owned had a similar failure but it was about 10 years of heavy use (small kids back then, most are moved out now) before it finally just "fell apart". That other vacuum was a $130 Hoover. I guess they don't make 'em like they used to.This vacuum is honestly very cheaply made, I can see why the price is now much lower than about 8 months ago when I purchased it. I'm hoping it is still under some kind of warranty, it has been less than a year of very light use, unbelievable.

BISSELL MultiClean Allergen Pet Slim Upright Vacuum with HEPA Filter Sealed System, 31269.The narrower footprint works very well for my smallish apartment. It functions above average for most of what I need a vacuum cleaner for. Other vacuums perform better and the cost is also higher, for me this is a very good compromise :)

Head no longer spins after the second time vacuuming. Definitely not worth the price and I do not recommend

I have long black hair that always gets tangle in my previous vac. With this one it doesn’t get caught in the brush like it did the other. Most of it goes straight into the dust container. Love the steering, super flexible and easy on the wrists. So much more power than the cordless vac and picks up way more!! I used to vac every week with my cordless vac but 5 minutes with this thing made all that look like nothing. Only thing I’d need to adjust is the ability to vacuum the rugs. It’s so strong even when it’s on the portable setting, my rugs still gets disarray. It’s a little on the heavy size but nothing like the older vacs and much more convenient than the two separate piece vacs. It was pretty easy to assemble. The instructions were very easy to read. Ai was able to buy a ‘used’ or ‘cosmetically’ damaged one but it was only an opened box and the product was just repackaged poorly and it might be missing an attachment or two but not like I was going to use them anyways so I got a good deal… still… it’s worth the full price. I would pay full price if I were to get this again because it’s that worth it.

I have only used the vacuum a few times, but so far I am very pleased on how easy it is to move around and removes dog/cat fur really well. I found the unit very easy to clean compared to other vacuums and would recommend it!

Okay, stand's back in amazement!!We live by the coast, been to the beach many times. Have not been for nearly two years now but I can tell you we have vacuumed many times and cleaned our carpets twice in that time prior to purchasing this Bissel.The first time we used it, my son vacuumed his bedroom. It's not a huge space, approx 13' x 13', something like that... After five to ten minutes of vacuuming, he's very thorough, he came to show me the contents of the cylinder... I. Was. Astounded! It was half full. There was so much sand along with the dust I could not believe my eyes. How could there still be sand in the carpet after all the cleaning the last two years?! Well, that's when I fell in love lol.I was initially very hesitant to by a cylinder vacuum as opposed to another that uses bags. But I went ahead anyway. It is so easy to empty this, the container easily detaches from the base, hold over the bin and release the clip, the debris just falls out.This vacuum cleaner is brilliant. Great price, fantastic results. Highly recommend.

This vacuum is the best i've used yet. In the past i've had Hoover(heavy), Kenmore(complicated), Eureka(disposable),Electolux(very expensive) all premium modelsAnd worked well. This Bissell combines the best features from those plus more. The easy empty canister lets you see how full it is and that lets you maintain best cleaning. The floor & carpet brush works great and mine hasn't loaded up with hair once. I have two large indoor-outdoor dogs plus I live on a farm. The vacuum hose wand and roller brush work like a miracle on furniture and tight spots. Plenty of vacuum power but not too much to do light throw rugs. Easy to maneuver and plenty of hose and electric cord. I would like to see a cord clip to prevent the cord from unwinding during use. I applied an aftermarket stick-on retainer. It works.Overall I'd rate this 2999 Bissell a strong 4.95Out of 5!
