I don't use this to burn weeds, I use it while camping to start fires. It is my go to device and does an awesome job. I highly recommend it.

UPDATE 1/11/2024 - Snow all over in Reno and I used this on the sidewalks AFTER shoveling and it barely made a noticeable difference unless the sidewalk was visible under the snow. My final analysis is that it's only good for starting a campfire which is the only thing it has done reasonably well. That said, save your money and just buy some BBQ lighters; they take up less space and use less fuel. This arrived with loose screws and no instructions. I added a one pound propane bottle, hit the igniter about 12 times and it finally lit. With the valve cranked all the way open the dry weeds burned, the green weeds chuckled and that was that. There is no "boost" mode so there is just a broad flame coming out that doesn't really do anything. It's a 2-star for weeds. I predict it will work better this winter for icy sidewalks so it gets a 3-star overall.

It’s what you would expect to get for the money !Right out the box the igniter didn’t work. But if lit it will work as intended so long as you lite it .

Largely pleased with this though that may change with more use. This fits small "camp stove" style propane canisters just fine, as well as the blue workshop style. So anything with that thread and valve arrangement should work fine. If you have a large BBQ style tank, you'll need an adapting hose.Gripes with the blowtorch are that the piezoelectric igniter wasn't gapped properly so it wasn't sparking. A tiny bit of additional bend to the outside metal body solved that. Also, the only way to turn it off is to turn off the black knob valve. It would really benefit from a trigger because if you drop this, the gas just keeps flowing. Also, you need to let more gas than you think you do flow before igniting. Flame intensity can be adjusted with the black knob valve.Over all, okay product; but a few bucks more would land you a nicer version.

Tried using this to burn the weeds around my front bushes but the flame barely gets hot enough to do any good. I love that it uses one pound tanks for convenience without a hose, but the flame just doesn’t get hot enough to be effective. Took almost an hour just to burn weeds in a 20 foot section. Might be good for starting campfires or bonfires, that’s about it.To add to the matters, the click igniter doesn’t work whatsoever. To light it I had to use a second lighter.

I love the different take on the weed burner this is super comfortable to use and easy also it's built to last I don't see anything ever breaking if you take care of it maybe a seal might need replacing other than that it's stout. Now the one huge gripe I have and I think it's a big one is where on earth is the trigger this needs a trigger to spew the dragon's breath like other weed burners I was so very let down when I realized it didn't have one, just a measly ol knob to adjust the flame not scorch the earth... sad face.
