These mailers are a good value but they're definitely on the thin side. The adhesive strip makes for quick and easy sealing. I would like to see a little more padding in a bubble mailer but these are definitely serviceable and I'll be using all 100 of them.

So much better than relying on the post office to have mailers. Great for shipping small items and these seal very well.

There's probably some value here, but these miss the mark in a lot of ways. First off, they're so thin. I hesitate to think of these as bubble mailers. I'm treating them more like opaque envelopes. Quality isn't exactly the worst, but I would not trust these to offer much protection during shipping. As for size... not quite 6x10", expect much less usable space. Like I said, there's probably some use for these, but I was expecting a lot more protection.

These envelopes arrive shrink wrapped together with a paper band around all the envelopes to hold them together. Don't think that you can lift them even a couple of inches off the surface using this paper band. I made this mistake and played 100 envelope pick-up from the floor as they slid sideways from the band and flew everywhere. Super fun. These are advertised as bubble mailers. They are absolutely not bubble mailers. They are embossed circles in the plastic. Then they go to the trouble of adding a clear, smooth plastic lining inside the envelopes to make them look like bubble wrap. Bubble wrap is actual bubbles filled with air, and it has a smooth side on the back with the bubbles made from their own layer where air is added on the other side. This is what provides the cushioning from real bubble wrap. It's kind of interesting that they would go to this much trouble to make fake bubble wrap. Strange. The pictures for this product are very deceiving. The clear layer they are "lifting" up off appears to be real bubble wrap or actual bubbles. What you get is a single layer of clear plastic inside the embossed black outer plastic. That embossing simply went through to the inside and makes it look like bubbles.I do not recommend these.

This product has so far received enough negative reviews to pull the rating down to 3.0 average. I'm really surprised because I find it to be an excellent product at a fantastic value. While there is no price now since the status is "currently unavailable," I recall that last week when I ordered these the pack of 100 6x9 mailers was listed at a bargain price under $13, so around 13 cents each. At that price I half expected receiving junk, but these are of excellent quality, and I'd expect them to cost more like 25 cents.Ironically, what I dislike about these mailers was not mentioned in any of the negative reviews I read, which is that I don't like the black. Black forces the user to apply a sticky label. Sometimes I like to just write on the mailer itself rather than use a printer. Not being able to write on them is the main negative to me of these mailers.Second, while the quality/durability is high (these are tough mailers for handling going through rough mail auto sorting), the bubbles are thinner and the dimensions are minimized; thickness, length and width. So while a 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 paperback book fits inside, it has to be squeezed in slowly and gently. That's with a half inch thick book. A thin booklet would go in easily. A thick paperback not at all. Half inch thick about the maximum. Bottom line: the 6x9 "usable size" claim is too generous. The pack of 100 mailers is surprisingly compact, because of the thin 'skin' plastic material and thinner bubbles that contain maybe half as much air as is typical. But the 'skin' is quite tough. It's actually tougher than the paper-coated type of bubble mailers. The paper skin quite often gets damaged in rough handling while this plastic skin probably will not. On the other hand a paper skin mailer with thick bubbles might offer better protection from certain kinds of blows.Hard to say. I feel these plastic padded mailers while not thick with the padding offer an excellent product especially considering the value proposition (at anything under 20 cents each). It's nice that these 100 mailers only take up as much storage space as maybe 50 of the puffier type.

These are cheap for a reason. They are very thin and hardly have any bubble protection at all. Do not recommend.

Our daughter loves making bracelets for her friends and family so we wanted to mail them out without any damage. These are a perfect size for small items that have a very nice protection all around. Thickness is not too thick but not thin. The top adhesive closes easily and stays closed for secure shipping. Very durable and great value.
