I love this exhaust tip for my Jeep TJ 4.0L, but make sure you have room for the extra 9 inches. I had to cut one down or it would have hit my brake line. I ordered another one because I'm changing to a better and shorter muffler that should work better. The paint is cheap and doesn't hold up to the heat at all. I will repaint the next one with high temp paint like I use on the mufflers. I looked inside after a test drive and the paint was burned away already.

I was not impressed with the price of this tip, but It was the style and size I wanted for my build. In my humble opinion, this should be priced somewhere in the $15-$20 range for what it is.To my dismay, the claimed 3" OD is not a true 3", but 2-7/8" OD. Somewhat disappointing based on the $27-$30 price tag depending on finish. I could care less about material, as it's just going on a jeep under the body where nobody will see it. The mounting end is also exactly 2-7/16". This is troublesome as it's going on a 2.5" pipe. This means I will have to flare the mounting end to 2-5/8" to get it to fit.Buying hodgepodge exhaust fittings from online sucks to begin with, as there can be so many variances in sizes compared to what the seller lists them as. So I took my chances and here I am. I am going to make it work because I need it. But it's getting a poor review because it's not at all the sizing I was hoping it would be. Advertised as a 2-1/2" should slip onto a 2-1/2" pipe. Not be less than the size of the pipe your putting it on, especially since it's designed to be clamped "onto" the pipe.

Poor QC, poor material and way way way too thin. Does not fit 2.5” OD pipe. Rusting after 3 weeks.The unit I received did not fit a standard Toyota 2.5” OD exhaust pipe. Had to cut and expand the stupid thing and then beat on it to seat with a rubber mallet.The nuts welded on top to clamp were misaligned so the bolt wouldn’t thread. They are rusting. The turndown itself is rusting.To the seller- make this right and refund me the full amount. Review your supplier and sourcing decisions.
