This black farmhouse chandelier looks stunning over my dining table. The five bulbs provide plenty of light, brightening up the room beautifully. It’s easy to install—just be sure to turn off the power in the area for safety. Very nice fixture, but it comes with a large number of unassembled parts -- so be prepared to devote a lot of time putting this fixture together.The wood and metal elements are all heavy, and high quality.I wish the shades were solid. Instead they are strips with Velcro that you shape into a round(ish) piece and fasten together. That unfortunately leavess a very visible seam that you will notice every time you look at this fixture from a certain angle.Other than that flaw, this is an otherwise very nice looking fixture.

I was so excited about this fixture but my wife won’t let me hang it over our dining room table, as the fake wood (tubular metal) looks too fake and cheap. (Zoom in on the pictures I took.). This fixture should have been perfect. It was selected to match a baobab wood floor lamp I recently purchased that had the same color tones and same lampshade.There’s lots to like about this fixture, hence me still giving it 4 stars.PROs:(+) Quality construction, if one can overlook the metal wood. It also came with spare parts (e.g., decorative cap, attachment screws, etc.) which is a lovely and uncommon touch.(+) It’s really pretty from a distance.(+) The manufacturer did everything they could to make it easy to assemble and install.CONs:(-) The only con is the cheap, fake wood made of tubular metal.Again, there are lots of reasons to like this light and it will do great in many spaces. But in our traditional home with many dark, hardwood features, it just didn’t fit. If you see it and like the look, go for it. It is a quality fixture that will last for decades.
