I got this as a quick release for the dock line on my fishing kayak. One easy pull on the release line and the clip opens right up and off I go. It is heavy duty and has a good coating on it that should keep it from rusting up.

Eye seems to be nice with good quality. Its a black color instead of the normal stainless color. I have not load tested it, but seems quite strong enough for my use.
