I ordered these for myself and the first set that came in was amazing with a really nice cracked glass effect. Unfortunately a point on one of the d4ās arrived chipped. They were very promptly replaced but now I wish they had only replaced the single d4 as this set has hardly any of the cracked glass effect except in the d20. Also the color in the second set is a slightly darker shade of blue than the first set. If the first set would have arrived without the chipped d4 I would be exclaiming that these are the nicest dice and definitely worthy of 5 stars but comparing the first set to the second Iām left slightly disappointed.

So pretty! Mine appear slightly paler than most of the ones in the picture, all of them appearing more like the d4 shown, but variation is to be expected with gemstone dice. There was a very small chip in the d10 when the set arrived, but it's so small that it doesn't affect the functionality of the die and is barely noticeable unless looking for it.The weight is nice, heavier than resin dice but lighter than metal dice, and they sound/feel like polished rocks you'd find at a rock shop.Overall I am very happy with this purchase, and the dice fit perfectly with my pastel collection ;)

I thought I was buying some beautiful blue glass dice that were easy to read according to the photos. I didnt realize they were trying to get sales based on dishonest photos. The dice are IMPOSSIBLE to read. The photos only make them look readable because there is a light source under them, shining up thru them to make them readable and a totally different color. The dice are dark blue and the numbers are impossible to read in normal light. Even with overhead lights we were unable to read them. DONT BUY THESE DICE. You wont be able to read the numbers.

I started with plastic dice years ago, then moved into metal when they came out. These gemstone dice are not going to replace my metal dice, but they look great with my display of specialty items. Very well made could not be more happy with my purchase.

There is a large option array you are able to pick if you want a special dice set for your game plays. With the choice of gemstone sets or glass sets, you will be able to find something that you would love to use.I don't know much about the glass sets, the two sets I bought are both gemstone sets. With me I got the Cat's Eye set and my wife got the Amethyst crystal set. Comparing these with our 6 dollar dice you can very much tell the difference in them. Are they worth this much money? I would say yes because they do look really good. When using these for the first time with a group of people or friends they might notice and would like a pair for themselves.The weight is nice. This is something you won't get with plastic dice or glass dice. It feels like you are about to do something great whenever you roll. Bonus on the weight, because there is more weight than found in plastic dice it won't fly far away from you.Color is great. Depending on which set you pick (I found the Malachite color not going so well with me) you might be in love right away with how they shine against the natural light. With the gemstones if there is a pattern, then each set is slightly more different than the rest. This makes you feel proud that your set is your set.Numbers are nice and easy to read. It isn't too heavily engraved like what you'll see with the plastic sets and the font they used does allow you to easily see the numbers from a good bit away.Size. After putting them side to side with my green plastic set to their own (the green cat eyes set) I do notice this set being larger on some pieces than the plastic ones. Not all of them are larger, just 5 out of 7 are slightly larger. The 1d4 plastic is 2cm, the gemstone is 2.4cm. 1d6 on plastic is 1.4cm, gemstone 1.5cm. 1d12 is same size. 1d10 is 1.5cm gemstone is 1.6cm. 1d20 is the same. 1d8 plastic is 1.7cm, 1.9cm. Then the 1d90 die is 1.5cm to 1.6cm.Overall. Since I haven't been able to test the wear and tear of these dice yet I don't know how likely they are going to break over time or the numbers start to fade. Just be mindful of which set you do get, some of these are not as durable as the rest. For the glass and gemstones that are light in weight I would suggest that you use a dice tray if you want them to last for a good long time. If you already have other dice available then I do recommend to get these. If this is going to be your only set and you don't have enough money to replace them every time they get damaged then I don't recommend these dice. Daily use and abuse would quickly remove the quality and beauty of your set.
