So this controller... It's an interesting beast for sure. Uses an older Micro USB port for charging, so you'll have to provision a spot to charge it if you've transitioned to mostly USB-C. The controller is fast to pair and isn't exactly terrible, but it is a noticeable downgrade from the Steam Deck it was paired to (this is to be expected though, a sub $30 controller is not going to be as precise as a $700+ device).Biggest things I noticed was that at the top and bottom of the joysticks there was some serious dead spot action going on, which I attached pictures of. I was able to compensate for this mostly through the Steam Deck's settings and setting the range to be within the properly operating zone, however I noticed the majority of the problem areas could be negated if I removed the joysticks themselves. The range of motion for these sticks seems to have been calibrated with the sticks off, which in turn causes them to not fully register and create a dead zone. Sometimes the buttons required a little former of a press to get them to activate, however at the current price for the black controller this is not terrible. I was also surprised to see that the track pad actually registered and relatively accurately too in the center of the controller, as exemplified on the output tests via the Deck. For the price, it's not exactly terrible - it will function and can get frustrating with the null zones, but I was able to make adjustments and it worked very well for the retro games we tried it on. I would not rely on this controller for any permadeath or competitive online games based on the issues I saw, but for casual gaming in your living room with your kids (who may or may not be notorious for being rough on controllers when they lose...) it's not a bad investment at all. I did not test microphone or headphone functionality, as I do not have any plug in headphones anymore.Picture explanation because I do not know the order they will go up: pictures with the dark blue are showing the dead zone prior to adjustment of the zones. The picture with the joystick on correlates with the picture of the joystick not reaching 100% with the full dark blue circle. The picture showing 100% with the dark blue circle is with the joystick removed and just using the controller stub. The pictures of the light blue circle in the dark circle correlate with the adjusted triggering ring demonstrating that I was able to compensate for the dead zone to allow proper triggering.

I've tried so many different generic controllers throughout the years. Some are good and some are bad. I feel this one kinda falls somewhere in between. It's relatively light and does feel cheap, but it was easy to sync with my computer and worked straight out of the box. My only issue is the track pad on the controller. For some reason it interferes with the other buttons, like my computer thinks it's another mouse and outputs some random movements on the screen. I haven't been able to find a way to disable the track pad yet, which would solve this issue. Overall, it's a decent controller. Probably won't last the longest and won't be the last generic controller I buy.

The controller build is of pretty surprising quality, it's very solid and almost feels like an original controller, I had no issues pairing and playing with it on the PS4. It also has the versatility to pair with PC and Android, and works all the time with a bit of setup. The battery life is long enough for me to be satisfied and I don't even remember having to stop gaming to charge it. My only issue Is the dead zone on the sticks feel a little larger than high quality controllers, but it's not by much. For the money, I definetly think it's worth it for the versatility, battery life, and overall solid construction.

I usually give a 3 star review to anything that is bad but still functions somewhat but I HAVE to fail this device for literally everything you can think of that would constitute a controller. The good thing is this comes with adjustable thumb sticks which is neat.. thats the end of the good stuff now onto the bad stuff! The thumb sticks aren't secure in any way and will fly off with any sideways pressure so intense gameplay will remove them. Analog sticks aren't accurate at all and have huge RANDOM deadzones at the top and bottom of activation meaning you might pull the stick out to 45% of it's tilt and it registers that as a 10% pull but do it again and it might register at a 24% pull or 15% pull or ZERO pull it's totally random!!! Sticks have a magnetic clamp on the cardinal directions so if you make perfect circles they will stop for a second every time you pass up down left and right positions meaning you cannot perform a circle in game or track a target etc. EVERY SINGLE BUTTON on this controller is wobbly loose cheap plastic AND pressing them EACH has like a 50/50 chance of actually pressing a button in game. The whole controller feels super duper cheap like it was slapped together with leftover parts from other toy controllers for like RC cars or something. It doesn't use USB C it uses old USB port so you have to use the included cable to plug it in. Wired the controller has 125hrz polling rate with about 70% connectivity WIRED!!!!!! Wireless it's hopeless, just so you understand 250hrz is the standard rate for OLD controllers so this isn't even on par with controllers from 30yrs ago. And now for the BEST part!! This controller ELECTROCUTES YOU as you play!! You can feel what at first I thought was the rumble motors activating on their own without anything triggering them but oh no that isn't what was happening no no no this was spilling electrical current INTO my hands! I went and got a meter to see if it was current or vibration or my imagination and ta da it was current. So this gets a FAILING grade in every possible way that a device attempting to imitate a controller could get AS WELL as a HUGE FAIL for attempted murder by trying to shock me to death lol.TLDR: F- D O N O T B U Y ! ! ! !I wouldn't wish this on my enemies
